Tolerance Design Notes:
When design and producing products, it is near to impossible that the product will be perfect. There must be some level of defects or differences in the products no matter how efficient and capable the process is. Taking this fact into consideration, products are designed based on some in-built tolerance limits. This is called tolerance design. Based on tolerance design, the products are allowed to defect in a certain limit from the actual dimension. Tolerances can be established in many ways. One example of tolerance designing might be tightening the tolerance limit of the product and using high quality material to produce quality products.
