Taguchi Process Definition:

Taguchi Process Notes:

Taguchi process is considered to be statistical but some behavioral aspects are also involved in Taguchi process. Six steps are involved in Taguchi process. The first step is identification of the problem. The second step enables to brainstorm critical factors or variables. The factors can be either control factors (that are controllable) and noise factors (uncontrollable factors). The third step involves experimental design. The experiment is designed after considering the objectives, factors and their levels. The minimum required number of trials are also determined. The fourth step is experimentation which is performed using different analysis methods e.g. ANOVA, signal to noise ratio and response charts. The results from the experimentation are analyzed in the fifth step. Finally, a confirming experiment is run for validation.
