A team is a group of people working together to achieve a common goal. When working for process improvement, developing teams is an important concept. It is better to involve a number of people to achieve an objective than a single person with limited expertise. Teams are an important part of improvement projects. People with different expertise and opinions, when work together, increase the chances of success of a project. A team is led by a team leader who possess some distinct personality qualities. The members of a team are assigned with specific tasks to perform which as a whole completes the project efficiently.
