Process Improvement Team Notes:
Process improvement team works when the objective is to improve a specific process. These teams can work traditionally (under the supervision of management) or self-directed. The activities of a process improvement team include opportunity identification, opportunity prioritization, selection of project for improvement, data collection, data analysis, recommendations, implementation, and review. Usually when quality trainings are conducted, they result in development of process improvement teams. Process improvement teams apply PDAC (Plan-Do-Act-Check) for process improvement related activities. These teams can be used in quality improvements as well. A process improvement team include a team leader and the employees that are related to the selected process either directly or indirectly.
