Pack Size Notes:
Value stream mapping not only requires data and information which involves time, but also considers some other measures. One of them is pack size. Pack size is related to the customer requirement or demand. When a product is required in bulk by a customer, pack size is important to be considered. Pack size shows the total number of items required or demanded by the customer in one shipment. Pack size is normally considered when products are to be purchased from a supplier or vendor. For example, if a customer orders 12 juice bottles, the pack size in this case would be 12.
