Un weighted Batch Means Control Chart Notes:
Correlation can be detected in process data. When the process data is auto correlated, a special type of control chart can be used which is called batch means control chart. Auto correlation shows the correlation between two observed values separated by a specific time interval. It shows the similarity between the data observations. Un-weighted batch means control chart was developed by Runger and Willemain in 1996. Un-weighted batch means control chart is used to divide the data observations into batches and assign a specific equal weight to each data point in the batch. The means of the batches are then plotted as a control chart. Un-weighted batch means model can usually be used in simulations.
