Employees of an organization possess certain skills however it is important for them to polish those skills from time to time. As the name indicates, cross training refers to the efforts of an organization to train its employees in different functions. Employees are usually hired to perform one job within an organization. Cross training enables the employees to learn the skills required to perform other tasks as well in addition to their own tasks.
