In Process Inspection Notes:
As the name indicates, in-process inspection involves all the activities related to monitoring the quality of products at different stages during production. When the inspection is performed during production, it is the responsibility of the worker working on the product at that particular stage to check for any errors. This means that the workers must have an authority to make decisions related to quality. In short, in-process inspection provides autonomy to the workers. This method is in contrast to the traditional method of quality control in which the end products are checked for any errors after the production process is completed.
