Quality Notes:

Quality is defined as a distinct feature or characteristic that a product or a service possess. Quality can be defined in several ways. One of them relates the quality to the ability of a product to be fit for use by a customer. Fitness for use can be divided into two parts. One is quality of design and the other is quality of performance. Whichever aspect is used, it is important to understand that quality cannot be definitively defined. In order to define quality of products and services, some quality dimensions are considered. The dimensions related to product quality are called product quality dimensions and include aesthetics, serviceability, durability, reliability, features, conformance, performance and perceived quality. The dimensions associated with service quality are called service quality dimensions and include responsiveness, empathy, service reliability, tangibles and assurance.
