Continuous Sampling Plans Notes:
Sampling plan is the determination of the way and time of data collection. A sampling plan provides the information regarding size of the sample, person responsible for data collection, the method of drawing out sample and the conditions which will be required to draw the samples. There are different types of sampling plans that can be used in acceptance sampling. One is called continuous sampling plan. Continuous sampling plan is used when the production is performed continuously rather than in batches or lots. Continuous sampling plan starts with 100% inspection until a specified number of products are defect free. After that, inspection is made through samples. However, if a defective product is identified, the inspection again is shifted to 100%.
