Tree Diagram Definition:

Tree Diagram Notes:

Tree diagram is like work breakdown structure that is used in project management. A tree diagram takes the form of a tree (as name shows), with a major problem followed by the steps needed to solve the problem in levels. The tree diagram determines a major issue in the first level. Under that level, brainstorming is done to identify the steps that will be needed to solve the major problem. After that, further ways are identified that will help in performing the tasks at second level. This goes on until all the ideas, steps and tasks are exhausted. Using the tree diagram, moving bottom-up, minor tasks are performed first to overcome the sub issues and this goes on until the major problem is solved.
