As the name indicates, prioritization grid prioritizes the alternatives for easy decision making. Prioritization grid is helpful in making decisions when the situation is dealing with multiple criteria and multiple alternatives. The steps involve in making a prioritization grid includes determining the overall goal, criteria and available alternatives, arranging the criteria from in order of importance, giving weight to each criteria for each alternative, averaging the ranks for each criterion to determine final criteria ranking, ranking alternatives with respect to each criteria and summing the score of the rankings to determine final alternative ranking, multiplying final criteria ranking and final alternative rankings to get importance score, adding importance scores of each alternative and finally ranking the alternatives based on the importance scores.
