Pilot Test Notes:
In quality improvement and control, a special process called DMAIC is used. DMAIC is a five phase process. One phase of DMIC is name as improve. As the name indicates, the improve phase allows evaluation different alternative solution to choose the best among them. However, when the solution for a quality problem is developed, it must be tested first. This test is done through a pilot test. A pilot test is an experiment of the developed solution to confirm the effectiveness of the solution. It determines if the solution will achieve what it is expected of. Pilot test can be iterative in nature which aids in refining and revising the solution before it is implemented.
