Activities associated with the project are interdependent and linked together. A dependency is basically when one element depends on another and should be performed in sequence. A dependent element cannot function with the help of the element on which it is dependent. There are a number of different types of dependencies. One of them is called internal dependency. Internal dependencies are basically the link between different project related activities. Internal dependencies are normally in the control of the project team. For example, while baking a cake, the actual baking cannot take place unless the batter is ready. This is called internal dependency.
