Validating Scope Notes:
The processes involved in monitoring and controlling process group deal with tracking and reviewing the actual performance, comparing it with the planned and make needed changes. A number of processes are combined in the monitoring and controlling process group. One of the processes is called validating scope or scope validation. When the project is completed with all the required deliverables, the deliverables should be accepted by the customer. A process that confirms the acceptance of the project deliverables is referred to as validating scope. The process of validating scope provides neutrality to the acceptance procedure and increases the chances of acceptance of the deliverables by the customer.
