When the project is completed with all the required deliverables, the deliverables should be accepted by the customer. A process that confirms the acceptance of the project deliverables is referred to as validating scope. The process of validating scope provides neutrality to the acceptance procedure and increases the chances of acceptance of the deliverables by the customer.
