Project management is closely related to general management as many of the functions and principals of general management are used in project management. A management system involves a set of processes and policies that are used to make sure that the objectives are met. Management systems school of management identifies that management is related to developing a model of the system that includes all the aspects of the organization i.e. inputs, processes and outputs.
