Identifying Stakeholder Notes:

Stakeholder is a person, an organization or a group of people or organizations that is involved in a project and is affected by the project's outcome and results. A process that enables to identify appropriate stakeholder and determine their interest, influences, involvement, dependencies and effects on the project and its objectives and results is called identifying stakeholders. Stakeholder identification not only helps to search for the appropriate stakeholders but also determines the degree to which the stakeholders must be focused on for engagement in the project. Stakeholder identification takes place whenever needed throughout the project life cycle, usually performed at the start of each project phase.
