After the procurement need is identified, best seller is selected and procurement is conducted, it is necessary to monitor and control the procurement activities. An organization prepares a list of all the sellers that once were approved by it for any type of project. This list is called prequalified seller list. Prequalified seller list makes it easy for the organization to identify prospective sellers. The prequalified seller list includes all the sellers' names who worked with or provided the organization. Whenever a current requirement is similar to a previous requirement, the prequalified seller list can be referred to in order to choose the suitable seller without making much effort.
