To computerize different operations and processes of an organization, information systems are developed. The development of an information system is a difficult task as extensive planning is required so that the development is completed on time, within budget and meets the customer's requirements. For this reason, the process of systems development life cycle is used. It is also called application development life cycle and involves all the steps needed to plan, develop, test and implement the information system.
