Extent to which the risk is related to other individual project risks is called connectivity.

Connectivity Notes:
Project related risks have a number of characteristics. These characteristics must be considerd when performing risk assesment. Although, the general concept of risk assessment involves the chances of occurrence and theimpact of potential risks on objective, a few more characteristics can also be considered. One of these characteristics is connectivity. Connectivity refers to the degree to which a potential risk is related to other project related risks. When there is a connectivity between a risk and other individual risks, the likelihood of occurrence and impact of the risk can also be linked to other project related risks. Sometimes, one risk is dependent on other as it occurs only when the other project risk arise. The connectivity between the risks must be established well in order to manage and control them effectively.
