Force Field Analysis Notes:

The conditions or environment for a project change from time to time and the changes are usually rapid. These changes must be dealt with. To cope up with the changes, project manager should be able to detect the changes, analyze the situation, identify the alternative ways and provide leadership so that the project team members easily adjust to the changes. This process is called force field analysis. Force field analysis is normally used to monitor the insufficiencies in the project team performance, involve the project team in the changes identification and remediation, and measure the sensitivity of the changes. During the project, there are some driving forces that help to push the project forward, and the restraining forces that restrict the project. The changes can occur in these two types of forces and the analysis of those changes is called force field analysis.
