During a project, decisions are to be made at every step. Different tools and techniques can be used for decision making based on the situation. One way of making decisions is called autocratic decision making. Autocratic decision making is based on one person only. He/she analyzes the situation, identifies the possibilities and chooses the best plan to be implemented. There is no participation of other team members in autocratic decision making. The decision is made based on the judgment of the decision maker. Due to this, sometimes the decision is not according to the will of others, still the members have to accept it.
