Risk control is the process of reducing the risk probabilities of occurrence and associated impact on the project. Using risk control, the impact on project schedule can be minimized. Different techniques are used for risk control. The technique selected for risk control must be an optimal mix of the techniques of cost effectiveness of the project, technique for calculating impact on project schedule, and methods of risk reduction. To control risk, control actions are taken. Different risk control actions can be performed. One of them is called demonstration events. Demonstration events are the events on the timeline of a project on which tests are performed to check if the risks have been successfully reduced or not.
