Cumulative Budgeted Cost Notes:
A planned project is to be divided into the activities and tasks. The tool used to perform this division is called work breakdwon structure. The lowest level of a work breakdown structure that involves a number of related activities combined together is called a work package. When the project costs are estimated, the cost of each work package is determined in order to know the overall project cost. When the cost of the activities with in a work package is estimated based on the time on which each activity is to be performed, it is called cumulative budgeted cost. When the total budgeted cost of each work package is spread over a time period, it shows how much amount of money is to be spent at a specific point of work.
