Urgency Notes:
When a project is carried out, potential project related risks, their chances of occurrence and impact on the objectives of the project must be identified. Moreover, risks can also be assessed using other characteristics. One of these characteristics is urgency. Urgency refers to the time period within which the corrective action is to be taken for a risk after it has occurred. Sometimes a risk is small but it immediately affects the project after it has occurred. In this case, the action must also be taken immediately. Otherwise, the corrective action taken would be less useful in reducing the risk impact. A short time period of taking action leads to high urgency.
