The scrotum is a reproductive structure in males that consists of a hanging sack of skin and is placed under the penis of males. Scrotum consists of two testis, and one is slightly lower than the other. The scrotum contains the external reproductive structures including the testes, spermatic fascia, epididymis and the ductus deferens.Typically iIn humans and also some other mammals, this structure gets covered with pubic hair at puberty. The scrotum usually tightens in the course of penile erection or when exposed to cold temperature.
