Amoeboid Movement Notes:
Amoeboid movement is used by eukaryotic cells as the common mode of motion. This is a crawling-like movement by cytoplasmic protrusions of the cell. The posterior uropods and pseudopodia are formed to help in the movement. The movement is in an amorphous form as no set motility structures are possessed by the organism.
