Chromatin Remodeling Notes:
Chromatin Remodeling is the alteration of chromatin architecture, such that it allows the regulatory transcription machinery proteins to access the condensed genomic DNA and eventually control gene expression. This remodeling is carried out by (a) histone modifications by certain enzymes (b) ATP dependent complexes that either eject, restructure or move nucleosomes.
