Acidic Dyes Notes:
Acidic dyes are the ones that have groups, which are negatively charged or are anionic such as carboxyls. These dyes can be applied to fabrics (cotton cloth) at low pH. Some of these dyes are also being used as food colors. For the diagnosis or research, in medicine, these dyes can be used to stain during microscopic examination and such dyes color the tissue proteins.
