Organisms Notes:

An individual entity that inhabits a place. Organisms are classified in to groups based on their features for example Plants, animals etc. An individual that belongs to any one of these groups for example an animal specie like cow, is called an organism. An organism is a single individual, or being. While it may have many separate parts, the organism cannot survive without the parts, as the parts cannot survive on their own. A human is also an example of an organism of the Homo Sapiens specie.
