Cell Envelope Notes:
Cell envelop consists of the cell wall and the inner cell membrane of bacteria. An outer membrane is also included in gram-negative bacteria. This envelop is absent in Mollicutes as there is the absence of cell wall. The cell envelope of gram-positive bacteria consists of the cell wall, capsule and cell wall.
