Tissue Notes:
An individual organization of cells that is between the cellular and organ level. A tissue is comprised of same type of cells that work together and sometimes in conjunction with other tissues to carry out a function. An example of a tissue is the Nervous tissue which comprises of a group of nerve cells that work together to send electrical signals to different parts of the body.
Tissue Notes:
Tissue is a cellular organizational level between cells and a complete organ. A tissue is an ensemble of similar cells and their extracellular matrix from the same origin that together carry out a specific function. Organs are then formed by the functional grouping together of multiple tissues. The study of human and animal tissues is known as histology or, in connection with disease, histopathology.
