Root Cause Analysis Notes:
Different issues and problems arise during a project. Problems can be related to quality defect, deflection in schedule, deflection from budget, conflict between team members, and potential risks. It is important to identify the issues and solve them. While determining the problems, the basic thing is not only to identify the issues but also to determine the causes of those issues. A technique that is used to capture the major causes of a problem is called root cause analysis. Root cause analysis is a technique for data analysis that considers one or more problems/risks in the project and try to identify why they happened. Root cause analysis lists all the possible causes of the problem and eliminate them. When all the causes/reasons are removed, the problem automatically resolves and does not re-occur.
