The project associated risks that are predetermined are listed in a document called prompt list. Prompt list is a list of different risk categories that may arise in the projects or that can become basis for the risks in any individual project. When the risks for an individual project are identified, the prompt list acts as a guideline for potential, possible risks and enable the project team to generate ideas for risks. The prompt list usually includes those risks that are at the lowest level of the risk breakdown structure. Some common frameworks that can be strategically used for risk identification using prompt list are PESTLE, TECOP, and VUCA etc.
