A project manager must possess time management skills. A project is time specific. It involves a lot of tasks and activities that must be performed to successfully complete the project. In order to complete the project on time, the time for each activity must be managed. For this reason, a project manager must prioritize the activities. Sub goals must be set regarding a set of activities and communicated to all the members of the project team. Planning is the most important part of time management skills. If the activities are planned beforehand, they can be completed on time. Also, the project manager must delegate the responsibilities to the team members so that he/she can focus on the most crucial parts of the project.
