A project team is a group of people having different backgrounds, skills and expertise who work togehter to achieve a common objective. In order to successfully achieve the goal or objective already identified, teamwork is important. Team work is an ability of a team to work efficiently together to fulfill the desired objective. Although it is important to carefully plan the project and manage it well, still the project team plays a crucial role in the success of the project. Efficient teamwork usually depends on some characteristics which include clear direction, good communication, responsibilities clearly defined, encouragement and motivation, equally valued opinions etc.
