Norming Notes:

When different people start working together, they have a feeling of nervousness, are not been able to trust each other at first, face issues in communications with each other and sometimes are dissatisfied with the structure of the team. Team development can be divided into four stages. The third stage of team development is called norming. In the norming stage, the team members start to get comfortable with each other. The conflicts, aroused in the past, get resolved. The level of dissatisfaction is reduced. The team members start to get familiar with the work environment within the team. The team members start to confide in each other and try to share information. The team members are empowered at a certain level at the stage of norming.
