A project is usually evaluated from time to time however, it is important to a completed project as well. The evaluation of a completed project through the project team is called internal post project evaluation. Internal post project evaluation involves meetings regarding the performance of the project. Meetings can be of two types. One type of meeting is the meeting with individual project tea members to determine their personal experience of the project. The team members can give their opinions openly about project, the relation with other members during the project and can individually give ideas for improvement in the future. The second type of post project evaluation is meeting with the whole team. Topics that can be discussed are technical performance, cost performance, schedule performance, planning and control, relation with team members and customer, communication, problem resolution, lessons learned and future recommendations.
