Although a project is to be terminated properly at the end of its life cycle, however, there are some situations in which a project might get termination before it is actually finished. There can be many reasons of early project termination. Sometimes, after the project is started, the project team realizes that the actual cost of carrying out the project is exceeding far too much from the budget and it is very costly to carry out the project. This results in early project termination. Moreover, a dissatisfied customer can also terminate a project before the completion. Early termination by a customer who is not satisfied affects the reputation of the contractor.
