Responsibility Matrix Notes:

After the activities and tasks of the project are identified, the sequence is established and the time duration for each activity is determined, the resources must be allocated to the activities. The major resource is human resource. If an activity is to be performed, it has to be performed by a project team member. Every individual is responsible to perform a set of tasks. In order to delegate responsibilities to individuals, a tool called responsibility matrix is used. A responsibility matrix shows the role of each individual in the project and displays how each member supports the successful completion of the project. Some common designations used in responsibility matrix are 'X' for the responsible individual, 'P' for primary role, and 'S' for support role.
