Milestone List Notes:
Milestones are basically specific points in a project which are to be achieved to successfully complete a project. Milestone is only an event or a point in project timeline and does not impact the project's schedule or duration. A project management document which lists all the milestones is called a milestone list. Milestones can be mandatory (as given in the contract) or optional (set by the project manager and team based on the previous experience and information. Although milestones are specifically considered in the project scheduling but the time duration of a milestone is considered zero. Milestone list includes milestone title, milestone description, type of the milestone etc.
