Inspection Notes:

Inspection involves examining a product to scrutinize, based on its conformance to requirements. The quality standards for the products are already documented and for inspection, those standards are used as basis of comparison. The concept of inspection can also be applied in project management. The project deliverables can be inspected/examined to confirm if they are according to the standards or requirements. Inspection can be performed either to the deliverables at the end of the project or to the deliverables of a specific set of activities at the end of each phase. Critically examining the project deliverables for quality can also lead to customer satisfaction.
