Quality is defined as the degree to which a set of inherent characteristics fulfill requirements.

Quality Notes:
In case of project management, the quality of the deliverables must be good to achieve customer satisfaction. Quality is the measure of performance of a product and relates to the fulfillment of the customer requirements. The intended function must be performed well by the product in order to be considered as of good quality. However, quality is perceived differently by different individuals. Based on this, a product quality is defined by eight dimensions that include aesthetics, reliability, durability, serviceability, features, performance, perceived quality and maintainability. Quality of services can also be defined by five service quality dimensions that are empathy, responsiveness, assurance, tangibles, and reliability.
