Project management softwares can be used to reduce the time of important processes involved in project life cycle using a variety of available features. One of them is report generation which includes generating different types of reports related to project. Sometimes project manager needs to access a report related to a specific data. In this case, filtering is used. Filtering is a part of report generation feature of project management software. If the project manager needs to access the information regarding activities/tasks which use a particular resource, filtering can be used. This will enable the project manager to get the only those tasks and activities that use the said resource.
