Common Cause Variation Notes:
Common cause variation is a type of variation that is caused by factors which may or may not be known. This type of variation shows a random distribution of output points across average but the distribution is steady. In statistical process control, when a process is monitored, it normally shows variations in the specifications of the products produced. These variations are sometimes large which cannot be ignored. However, sometimes, the process produces products that meet the specifications but still, all the products are not of the same dimension. This is due to the fact that there are some common variations present in the process which cannot be completely removed from the system but their final impact on the product is minimal.
