Equilibrium Expression Definition:
A simple relationship that links Kc to the equilibrium concentrations of reactants and products and the stoichiometric equation is called equilibrium expression.

Equilibrium Expression Notes:
An equilibrium expression is an expression that gives the ratio between the products and reactants. We can say that it is equal to the concentration of each product raised to its coefficient in a balanced chemical equation and multiplied together divided by the concentration of the product of reactants to the power of their coefficients. In order to write the equilibrium expression for a system in a state of equilibrium, it is important to know the balanced equation for the reaction and the phases (solid, liquid, gas, or dissolved) of each species involved in the reaction.
