Epinephrine Notes:
Adrenaline is also known as epinephrine. it is a hormone and a neurotransmitter. Adrenaline is normally produced by both the adrenal glands and certain neurons. It plays an important role in the fight-or-flight response and helps by increasing blood flow to muscles and heart and changes blood sugar level. It does this by binding to alpha and beta receptors on the efectors. This gland is present in humans and many animals too.
