Uterus Notes:
The uterus is a main female hormone-responsive secondary sex organ of the reproductive system and is present in most mammals. In the human the anatomy of the uterus is different. The lower end of the uterus opens into the vagina and the upper part is linked to the fallopian tubes.The fetus develops within the uterus during pregnancy. The uterus has different forms in different animals and in some animals it exists as two separate functional uteri which are called duplex uterus.
