Technology Feasibility Statement Definition:
A technology feasibility statement is used in the design process to assess a variety of issues such as necessary parameters for performance, manufacturing imperatives, limitations in the physics of materials, and conditions for quality-testing the product.

Technology Feasibility Statement Notes:
It is important to select the best technologies and material for a product to be manufactured with good quality and according to customers' preferences and requirements. For this reason technology feasibility is performed. Technology feasibility helps in determining the best possible combination of material and process technology for a product. A number of issues are addressed in a technology feasibility statement that may include, parameters for manufacturing, important performance parameters, mechanical properties of materials, manufacturing technologies and possible changes in them, quality testing of products and needed conditions etc. At the design phase, quality characteristics may be defined and possible changes in quality characteristics with products made of different materials may be assessed.
