Non Conforming Products Notes:
Variations can occur in products and processes. There can be two types of variations in processes, assignable variations and non-assignable variations. Due to variation in process, the products produced by the process are affected. Moreover, the design and production of products is a series process where an issue in design is not detected earlier and is translated into the final product. The products that contain some quality issues are called non-conforming products. As quality is referred to the conformance to specifications, non-conforming products are the one which do not meet the defined specifications. The quality issues in non-conforming products do not allow to send them to the customers. They have to be either scrapped or reworked.
